Tug & Barge...
Moving along the ICW...
Hi All, well, its back to the parade of boats heading North this time. Oh Boy, are there many of them. What a beautiful morning it is.....The sun is shining and its very hot. 97* We anchored in Beaufort at 4:35, pulled the anchor at 7:45 and we're off. We hope to make it past Belhaven and anchor for tonight. Its a little faster moving this time, 1: the wind is behind us, 2: our boat bottom is much cleaner, 3: the days are longer .....
We had a great sail off of Oriental for a while, until the wind picked up and sent us moving. We doused the sails and started down the last 45 miles to our anchorage. We got to see a tug pushing two barges today, which is not a usual thing to see in the ICW. (Intracoastal Waterway) Nothing exciting happened today other than Margaritas when we anchored and a great spaghetti dinner.
We bunked down at 8:45 so we can leave at first light. Until tonight, love to you all.
