DAY 7 - Leaving Norfolk, VA

These ships remind me of dad, I'll never forget Bill & my visit to Pearl Harbor, and the Missouri, it was a very emotional day.......
Bill said these containers are probably full of WALMART shit.......he loves wallyworld, not!

Now, I bet you think we are crossing their paths....NOT, the tug was backing them in a spot and the guys on deck are actually waving.,....

Sun rising in Norfolk, VA

Moon setting:
Well, we pulled up anchor at 6:30 AM after a great night talking with friends on skype and a wonderful nights sleep. Where we anchored was right outside where all the Navy ships are. It was just an amazing night after a pouring, soaking rain. AND my god, its freezing here. Thank god I have my big DOWN COMFORTER, OH, I think I said that already. It was 50* when we woke up, I thought I would die......boy I miss those 94* days....Oh well, I'm going for Genaker and I'm gonna be with my friends and family, so, what's a little cold.
Enjoy these pics from Norfolk, VA.
Love ya all,
