Mine That Bird, a long shot winner, wins the 135th running of the Kentucky Derby. CH Barel was the jockey, his second win at Churchill Downs. My most favorite, everyone dresses up and wears beautiful hats, show to watch each year.
When I had my own horse, this is the show I use to watch with my dad all the time. He actually use to remind me of it each year. I always hated that the horses had to run so fast and that they got hit doing it......See, thoroughbreds have the biggest hearts in the world.
After owning one for so many years, you learn that they give all the time and expect nothing in return......
Anyway, it was a total upset, 50 to 1, someone got very rich on this race. My dream, is to someday, go to the Derby and dress up and be with my friends and just enjoy everything about it......until next year.......My old Kentucky Home.......
