Today, Friday, I played golf for the last time for a while. I played the Love Course with my friend Sue Ziegler and we had a great day - the weather was beautiful - and so were our games....
Sue shot an 88 - I shot an 84
The pro shop has to combine the courses due to the fires - so we mixed Love with the Fazio and they call it the Lov-Azio.....we play the first 14 holes of Love and 1, 2, 17 and 18 of the Fazio. They are allowing visitors to play on the Dye Course and the Norman.
I have a few pics - today we saw a mom and dad goose or geese, with their babies walking through the rough.....going to one of the ponds. Also, on the Love Course, some of the Spanish Ruins still remain, and there were some beautiful flowers blooming along them.
As you know, I'll be heading out to sea in a few days - looking forward to seeing you all soon. We will be keeping Spirit at NEB 1 Lagoon Road Portsmouth, RI (Melville Marina)
Bill and I were hoping to come this summer to MB, but we have offered our condo to our real estate agent who lost her home in the fire. If they stay here, it may be until October before their home is rebuilt.....
